Application Support Specialist - Sydney or Adelaide (base salary $75-90k + super & work from home)

Job Description for Application Support Specialist Summary Location UK – London area for first 3 months (accommodation paid for by client), Australia afterwards (can be based in Adelaide or Sydney area). Department Client Support Reporting To Manager, Development & R&D Manager Experience 5+ years - The salary is between 75k to 90k + super dependant on experience. Responsibilities •Achieve expert level knowledge and understanding of LMS / eLearning software capabilities and market applications •Deliver end-user applications training, which includes the production of supporting materials • Work with internal stakeholders to answer/resolve any technical questions/issues faced by prospective customers • Provide customer feedback to inform future product and services direction • Ensure a seamless hand-off for successful implementation management following customer commitment Requirements • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar field based technical support and/or applications support position • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex technical information to various audiences to promote learning and knowledge transfer • Knowledge of genomic and proteomic workflows and present day applications for next generation sequencing and mass spectrometry analysis • Experience with Training and Scheduling highly desirable • Strong commitment to personal excellence, self-motivated, self-sufficient and resourceful • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment involving multiple stakeholders • Working knowledge of Web application and Windows environments and administration • Previous exposure to .Net, MS SQL, application server and database applications
